The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge supporting countries to deliver Ukrainian forces with further advanced missile systems to target Russian targets during discussions in London on the upcoming Friday.

Britain's leader will host President Zelensky alongside the so-called "alliance of supportive nations", consisting of more than 20 of supporting nations who have pledged to provide Ukraine protection commitments once a ceasefire is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been urging for several weeks for more advanced missile technology from the West, a move that Russia has cautions would worsen the conflict.

Britain's leader will urge participants to ramp up the provision of long-range weapons following an effective attack on an industrial facility in the Russian city, Russia, using UK-provided missile systems.
