I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
